Dear B.P.,
If I were your parent, you would be grounded for the rest of your life, and NO you would not be allowed to go to J.P.'s Party (AKA Yacht Races-http://dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/06/21/bp-chief-draws-outrage-for-attending-yacht-race/). Your allowance would be suspended (AKA your profits go to fixing your mistake), and you would be spending every single day down in the Gulf coming up with every possible solution to the problem.
(sarcasm)Mr. Howard wants his life back people, give him his poor rich-bastard life back. Who cares about the beaches of Louisiana, Mississippi, etc. and the people and animals who live there, and rely on the resources there that are being destroyed by oil.
Dear America,
If this isn't a big red flag that we need to develop better sources of renewable energy, I don't know what is. Here's the thing, though... it's not about "making a renewable source of energy" it's "making a renewable source of energy that I can still continuously profit from." and THAT is why America sucks, and humanity in general...sucks. Do people even realize how many problems would not exist if we no longer needed oil?
